Tom’s Fun Band was born in the summer of 2007. Tom had stopped playing music at local clubs and churches and was seeking a new musical outlet. His twins, Josh and Abby provided all the inspiration Tom needed. In just a few short months Fun Band headquarters was buzzing with new songs about bath time, breakfast, taking rides in the wagon and monsters in the mirror. Word got out and requests for shows came in! Tom found that performing for children was exactly what he was born to do! But there was still something missing. In the Fall of 2007, Tom met professional tuba player, Will Samson. The two hit it off immediately and joined forces to start Tom's Fun Band's educational series. The band still needed something else! With a little encouragement, Chris Wilbeck (Tom's brother), joined the group in early 2008. The chemistry was automatic! You can now see Tom's Fun Band at festivals, schools, libraries, fundraisers, parties, museums and anywhere positive family music is needed!

- Tom Wilbeck: Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboard, Mandolin, and Jaw Harp

Meet Tom
Tom's a happy daddy and husband who loves to educate, inspire and play music. He works as a counselor for kids and young adults and often plays with the praise team at church. Tom loves to play any and all instruments he can get his hands on. He says that we all have a song to share and homemade songs are the best! He believes that seeking good in all people and sharing God’s love is what we are put here to do...so that’s what Tom's Fun Band does everyday!
Meet Will
Will is the group’s tuba player and the cofounder of Tom’s Fun Band’s educational series. Will is an educator and has performed with symphony orchestras throughout the country including The Houston Symphony and The Houston Ballet and Grand Opera Orchestras. It's true that Will is a very accomplished musician but his silliness is legendary!
Meet Chris
Chris is the drummer for Tom’s Fun Band. Chris is a father and Tom’s older brother. Chris has studied percussion at the prestigious Drummer’s Collective in New York City and has been a member of multiple ensembles in the Houston area. It can be said that Chris is the heartbeat of Tom's Fun Band but he's also the daddy of our number one fan, Kate!
